Wow, you did it! I truly wish I had this on the offset when I first started my web projects but even 2 and a half years later it proves valuable. And for the price...cannot be beaten, great SEO guide. You are giving it away! A great concise SEO book with great resources for further topic research. Another great tool to carry on my USB keychain. I really really needed that before I started my endeavors but still is useful even after hours of research. Concise and to the point! 'Twas a very good and informative read. A must have for those who are starting their careers in SEO and even for those who have been in the business and yet would want more good insight. I'm looking forward to the updates of SEO Handbook 2007 and to the next e-books... Jun Baranggan - WebSEO |
The SEO Handbook gives a level grounding in the basics of search engine marketing, it looks at what site marketers want and need to know. I'll be looking forward to future versions of this e-book. John King, Owner and Lead SEO at SEO and Stuff |
I've been running websites for seven years now and wish this had been around when I started out. I downloaded it to make sure my current thinking isn't too far out of sync with today's SEO trends and to check there's nothing vital I'd missed. (Wood from the trees scenario) Not only has it backed up much of what we'd learnt on our own journey it also hinted at other factors to take into account that will help build our organic listings further. A recommended read to anyone starting their journey on-line and reaffirming as a refresher to the seasoned SEO hack. Andrew Moore - Ringtones and Mp3 Downloads |
Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical about learning anything new from SEO Hand Book 2007, but I was refreshingly surprised when I found it to be an authorative source on the subject full of great tips and references. Also, unlike many other opinionated and factually incorrect SEO books I have had the displeasure of reading, SEO Handbook 2007 is a concise, up-to-date and accurate view of the SEO process today. Being fairly new to the SEO world (about 8 months in now) i have constantly been on a hunt for information on how things work, what can i do to make my website more effective and how do i do it without confusing myself to the point of just giving up. In my hunts i found lots of useful information, a lot of it took some serious quiet time to soak in and eventually be implemented. Reading through the articles and chatting in forums made life easier but it still took ages to get that extra understanding to make myself fluent in SEO. I wish I had the SEO Handbook 2007 when i started because it simply explains all the concepts necessary to get an aspiring website developer, marketer or just enthusiast into SEO in the most painless way possible. Everything that took me months to learn and even stuff i didnt know about is laid out in this book. The references and tools provided by the SEO Handbook 2007 are invaluable to anybody in the field, from experience, i can tell you that it took me quite a while doing research and checking legibility to build up an arsenal of tools half the size of the one offered by this book. All of them are useful and some essential to a prosperous future in SEO. Ryan Steyn, Web Admin -Lalibela Game Reserve, South Africa |

David, you did an excellent job on your guide book. Not only did you present the guide in an easy to read fashion, but you also provided the top ways to optimize your site - with examples. I feel this guide is an excellent tool for any Search Engine Optimizer - beginner or expert. Once again, Great Job! Wes Fernley - Ontario Web Design and Search Engine Optimization |
I just finished reading this wonderful little handbook. I've got to say, it cleared up a lot of questions that I had about SEO. I have only started learning and as a complete novice to search engine optimization I found this ebook well written and easy to understand. Various SEO terms are explained clearly and I feel that I can successfully take what I learned from this book, apply it and get the results that I am looking for. Thanks for the great ebook, David! David – Congratulations on producing an extremely useful introductory SEO manual. It's so difficult for people to prioritise what they should or shouldn't do when starting out on a Search Engine Optimization project. You make this process so much easier by highlighting all the essential steps and not confusing the issue by mentioning areas of lesser importance. Congratulations again – a really useful manual! David Bain - Founder, SEO for Beginners |
The e-book covers the basics of seo. Many questions that are asked here over and over would be answered in the guide. A webmaster with a good understanding of seo, how it works, the basics, what spam is, what gets you banned, what penalties/filters are and the difference between them probably would know most of what is in this guide. For $10 it is a affordable buy to start learning SEO. Again it covers the basics. In the back he offers a good list of resources. I said good because they are from all I saw authority sites which offer either awesome seo information or seo tools. Great job there as well! I have heard of people paying $10 just for a list such as that. It isn't a huge 10 page list but those types of lists are useless. It is the lists that offer the best sites which count and I think his is pretty well thought out. Randy LaCelle - SEO Experts Forums |
Wow! This book was more than I expected for $10. I wish this book was written when I was beginning to learn SEO. The nice thing is an SEO at any level can learn from this as well. It's also very well written and easy to understand so there's no confusion. Great job Dave!" |

Thanks everyone.... I sure hoped it helps..even in the smallest of ways and I really want to thank you for taking the time to help out with great feedback - It will only make the SEO Handbook a better publication moving forward - David
